Some customers may be experiencing a loss of their ADSL internet connection. This is related to a number of service issues with BT. These issues are being investigated as a priority. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause you

Update 29 Jun 10 12:06 AM - Our engineers continue to work with the manufacturer to resolve this issue. Work is currently proceeding well and we hope to have a further update before 02:00hrs.
UPDATE - 17:30 28th June Our engineers are continuing to work with the manufacturer and plan to undertake an upgrade. Once we have fully tested and confirmed with the manufacturer that this fix will not have any detrimental effects, we will instruct them to implement the resolution starting at 22:00 this evening (28/06/2010). During this upgrade period you may experience service disruption. We will provide updates as they become available. This issue is being treated as a priority and we apologise for any inconvenience that this may be causing you.

UPDATE - 13:30 28th June Our engineers are continuing to work with the manufacturer of this unit in order to obtain a solution to this issue. We hope to have a proposed solution in the next two hours and then to implement that solution after testing. We will provide updates as they become availible

The 3rd party SSL certificate provider has been contacted and are investigating this issue as a priority on our behalf. We believe that they will have this resolved by 8pm on Monday the 28th June. - Scheduled maintenance for Linux Shared Hosting Cluster 24 Jun 10
- Tonight (23/06/2010) at 21:00hrs our engineers will be carrying out a restart of some services that will affect the shared hosting cluster. This work may result in an outage of up to 20 minutes in some extreme cases, however we expect the work to be completed in a shorter time frame. If you are still experiencing issues after 21:30 tonight, please log a support ticket via the control panel.
- Major power outage 22 Jun 10
- Our customer contact centre is currently unavailable due to a major power outage in the Worcestershire area. Every effort is being made to restore power as soon as possible. This is not affecting any other services.
- Systems Improvements to the Namesco Email Platform 16 Jun 10
- In order to improve performance on our POP3 and IMAP platform, our engineers will be undertaking scheduled maintenance on our POP3 and IMAP clusters on Thursday 17th July 2010 between 20:00 and 22:00hrs. Please be aware that some users may experience a slight outage of no more than 5 minutes during this time as the work is carried out. We will post updates here as the work is completed.

- Update 9:03 PM - The power issue was resolved at 20:00hrs and all servers were back up again.

Our system engineers have today made changes to the way customers can create email and FTP passwords. These changes affect the types of words you can use when creating passwords, along with additional secuirty features.

- Dedicated Server Site Move 13 Apr 10
- Update 15 Apr 10 4:25 PM - The move was successfully completed within the maintenance window.
There will be an essential maintenance downtime period from 22:00 on Wednesday 14th April - 08:00 on Thursday 15th April, for dedicated servers with IP addresses in the range 85.233.164.0 - 85.233.165.255 whilst they are moved to our new state of the art tier 4 data centre facility. Customers that are affected by this move have been contacted previously. Our aim is an interruption of service of no more than 8 hours per server within this window. This site is back online following the upgrade to the latest release of phpmyadmin

- Update 02 Apr 10 9:08 AM - Service was restored at 02:05am this morning. We do not believe there are any outstanding issues. If you are still having difficultly please power off your router for 15 minutes and switch on again. If the problem persists please contact our support centre.
Update 02 Apr 10 1:27 AM - BT are continuing their investigation and we are currently waiting for BT to send an engineer to site.
One of the data circuit pipes that interconnects our network to BTs broadband infrastructure failed at 21:30 this evening. We have reported the fault to BT, who are currently investigating with their engineers. This has resulted in an outage for customers with usernames ending in: dsl-login9.com, dsl-login4.com, dsl-login5.com, dsl-login6.com, dsl-login7.com, eveshambroadband.com, dsl-login3.com, dsl-login8.com, static.ndodsl.com, staticip.ndodsl.com, easykey.net We apologise for any inconvenience caused, but please be assured that this is being treated with the highest levels of urgency. - VPS Relocation 16 Mar 10
- Update 19 Mar 10 3:32 AM - All services were sucessfully restored by 03:00am.
On the night of Thursday 18th March there will be an essential maintenance period (00:00 - 05:00 Friday 19th March) in which the hardware platform hosting VPS services at our Telecity data centre will be relocated to our TeleHouse data centre. This work has been postponed to tomorrow night (17th Feb 2010) owing to circumstances beyond our control.
The work will now take place at 21:00 on 17th Feb 2010.
Update 16 Feb 10 10:02 PM - The work on MySQL 1 is over-running and as a result the server will experience an outage at 22:15 this evening for up to 30 minutes.
MySQL3 and MySQL1.namesco.net will be undergoing maintenance on Tuesday 16th February 2010.
Part of this work will require a reboot and therefore there may be a short outage lasting a few minutes on these servers between 21:00 and 21:30.

- Update 10:43 PM - Following an unexpected complication with the new hardware, our engineers have rolled back to the previous configuration.
We have tested a number of customer databases and they all appear to be working as before.
This work will be rescheduled for a later date and notice will be posted here once the timings are agreed.
Update 10:02 PM - A full copy of the data on this server has now been taken. Our engineers are about to take this system off line whilst the hardware takes place. We will update you here once the work is completed.
The server mysql1.hosts.co.uk (also known as mysql.hosts.co.uk and mysql1-remote.namesco.net) will be taken off line tonight at 21:00 (9pm) for essential maintenance and a hardware upgrade. We hope to have this system back online ASAP, however there could be an outage of up to two hours during this work. If your site utilises a database hosted on this server, your site will probably stop working whilst this server is off-line. - Update 15 Jan 10 7:16 AM - This work was carried out successfully and was completed on time.
Engineers have been monitoring the servers overnight and are happy that the update was a success.
Due to essential maintenance, we will be taking our main websites off-line at 9pm tonight. We do not expect this outage to last very long, however you will not be able to place any orders during this time. We will post an update here once the maintenance is complete.

- Namesco : MSSQL Databases 23 Dec 09
- Update 2:00 PM - This issue has now been resolved.
We are aware of an intermittent problem with MSSQL database services in our London datacentre - this may be causing some Windows hosted sites to experience difficulties connecting to their database.
